I stopped updating my web page but did earn my Private Pilot's License in May 2001. Since then, Kathy and I have flown over Orlando and the Kennedy Space Center (where the Space Shuttle Lands) as well as our house!

My Flying Adventure

I decided to take flying lessons as it's always been a dream of mine to fly. When people would ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I would always say to fly a 747. You have to start somewhere, so Kathy and I took a discovery flight at Air Orlando at the Orlando Executive Airport. It was a 30 minute flight in a two-seater Cessna 152 as pictured above. We each flew separately with our instructor Ron Cappello. He let us control the airplane in flight and it was great fun. I decided to start lessons and got my ground course cd's for my computer so I can take ground school at home at my own pace. Thus begins my attempt to earn my Private Pilot's License.
